Night Journey 1997
      This is my sleep diary.
The camera is placed next to my bed, the shutter, open all night, records all my sleeping.
As a ritual, the shutter would be left open when the light is switched off, and closed when I wake up.
As with the series of sleepers, this is an attempt to record on a photographic surface the aura which surrounds my sleeping.
Here, the self-portrait may reveal the ineffable, the indiscernible, which is the image of the Self-asleep.
This series covers 30 nights- 30 photographs.
